Supported, Loved, and A Part of Something Greater
“The BIPOC gathering was well structured, safe, and flexible. We were provided a laid-back atmosphere to share our experiences, within a structure so that I had a sense of where we were headed. It isn’t often that I get to experience spaces where I can be vulnerable and leave feeling authentically seen and supported. Our facilitators modeled for us and provided us with grace. We weren’t rushed to move through the planned agenda like a checklist but were encouraged to spend time as a group reflecting and discussing where it was most needed. We had time and guidance to talk about things that we (at least I) don’t have any other way to discuss. I left this session feeling lighter, supported, loved, and a part of something greater than myself. I look forward to any opportunity I may have to return to a similar space!”
Educator
Skilled Facilitator, Educator, Thinker, and Coach
“Coach RaVonya has also provided our organization with both team and individual coaching. In this time, I’ve witnessed her exceptional gifts as a skilled facilitator, educator, thinker, and coach. Her work is grounded in relationships and passion. She is able to adeptly and unflinchingly “level up” one’s understanding of equity and social justice. By helping me more clearly see the world around me I have been able to deepen my commitment to being anti-racist in both my professional and personal life. There is a clear delineation between how I understood my place and responsibilities in the community before and after my work with Coach RaVonya. She has provided me, and the dozens of others I have had the privilege of watching her work with, tools to keep growing for years to come as she has helped us to build a foundation of knowledge and heart.”

Encourage, Uplift, and Inspire Black Teachers
“As a Black woman educator, I am grateful for spaces that encourage, uplift, and inspire Black teachers. This is just the kind of space that RaVonya Knight of Be Gr8rr Educational Consulting co-creates. I emphasize co-creates because that’s exactly what RaVonya Knight does as she comes alongside BIPOC educators and encourages them to create spaces that allow them to be the best educators that they are called to be. She facilitates an inquiry-based process that challenges educators to start with internal work, which often requires them to examine their beliefs regarding their role within the education system and to reimagine their practice aligning with a greater determination to establish equitable learning environments where children thrive. RaVonya provides support through relevant examples, strategies, and resources that are unique to the individual educator. Most importantly, RaVonya practices what she preaches. This is evident as she articulates how her practice connects to her own experiences as a Black educator. RaVonya Knight’s collaborative approach is ideal for any educational space that is serious about its commitment to BIPOC educators.”
Educator & Racial Equity Leader
Powerful Speaker
“Based on my work with her it is abundantly clear that RaVonya has a deep fund of knowledge, a critical lens, and an abiding passion for the work of racial-equity and anti-racism. She served as one of our opening keynote speakers and as a thought partner for me in giving shape to the opening plenary session for the conference. RaVonya was a powerful speaker and her impact on the conference attendees was very clear in survey feedback after the conference. However, what I was most appreciative of was not her speaking but her thought partnership and her ability to be both insightfully critical and wonderfully generous at the same time. It is this combination that I believe is so critical to advancing the work of anti-racism and it is a quality that RaVonya exhibits in every conversation I have had with her.”
